Belonging at St Andrew's

At St Andrew’s, we believe that every child deserves to feel valued, respected and proud to be part of our school family. Belonging is at the heart of everything we do. We want every child to know that they matter, that their voice is heard and that they can be themselves, knowing they are welcomed, supported and celebrated.

Through our work on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB), we actively promote British Values and teach children about the Protected Characteristics. We encourage our children to embrace differences, challenge discrimination, show kindness and respect, and recognise the unique contributions that every individual brings to our community.

Rooted in our Christian values, we strive to create a school where everyone feels safe, included and empowered to 'Push Out into the Deep'. We want our children to understand that belonging is not simply about being part of a community, but about helping to make that community a place where everyone belongs.
